Why choose us for Christmas gift baskets?
On the weekend I thought I would go and check out the Christmas gift baskets in DJ’s and Myers to see what the competition are doing. Well, I have to say that I am very excited! The quality and their prices are appalling… no competition at all. So for $149 you can get about 6-7 items (no wine at all), in a basket that is very trashy, the shrink wrap is loose, the ribbons are glued on and ugly …and that does not include delivering the gift to the recipient with a gift card printed and attached to the gift! Sorry, in my books that is a rip off.
So I thought I would check out our competition online too. Mmmmmm, so many of them have gone out of business and if they are up and running are selling cheap, ugly and over priced goods. The products are very inferior quality, I would not sell them due to the fact they will sit in a cupboard somewhere for months and then thrown in the bin when the expiry date comes round. On one website, they are selling a Chandon sparkling in a wooden box for an enormous amount of money and in the description they are saying its French Champagne! For one thing that breaches the copy right laws of the French Champagne industry and they will be found out, but it is deceptive to the customer… Very naughty.
When I send a gift to someone I want it to blow them away, to make them go WOW! So that is our vision and our mission, you won’t be disappointed!
